Surgical Services

Pre-Surgical Requirements

All patients must be at least 4 months of age, current on Rabies, Distemper, and a HW or FeLV/FIV screen if old enough. Patients must also be seen for a pre-surgical exam prior to surgery. We cannot provide surgical services to patients over 7 years of age or over 75 pounds. Payment and a signed consent form are required to schedule an appointment.

Juvenile Pre-Anesthesia Blood Panel

Optional for pets under 5 years of age, but highly recommended. Checks for health issues and birth defects that could cause complications during surgery. Pets 5+ years of age are required to have an adult blood panel ($80) prior to surgery.

Home Again Microchip

This tiny device provides your pet with permanent identification to give them the best chance of coming home.

The surgical procedure, anesthesia, post-op pain medication, and an e-collar.
